Love vs. Fear

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” ~ John Lennon

There is compelling energy in the words of John Lennon, certainly it gives us a lot to think about. Love is the most powerful force in the Universe, Multiverse and Omniverse, in Creation. Fear is a powerful force as well. The wonderful thing is that we get to choose which one we live by as we create our life moment by moment choosing our actions, thoughts, words and deeds.

We were Sourced from Love, from the One who is all Love – Love and Light and from that beginning, we were sent out to create our world, a world of illusion. In this illusionary world we created fear. We are free to express either of these emotions through our God given right of Free Will. These are the only true emotions, all others are aspects of them:

Love – peace, joy, balance, forgiveness, acceptance, harmony

Fear – guilt, anger, jealousy, greed, judgement, sadness, pain.

Where there is love, fear cannot survive and where there is fear, love cannot survive, they are two polarities and cannot exist at the same time. Love is real, fear is an illusion, an illusion that we create for ourselves. Since we have the free will to choose, our life is what we make it, truly make it by creating our world through our actions and reactions. It is all about attitude!

We are so used to living with the feeling of being under attack, it has become second nature to live with stress and become defensive due to cellular memory of suffering through thousands of lifetimes. We have brought into our present incarnation, modern day media reports, office competition, job security, phobias, and pollution to name a few, so we find it difficult to believe we are free to live in love, free to relax and enjoy life, free to see the beauty around us each day.

When we finally realize the truth of this, we begin to take responsibility for our lives, we cease blaming other people and surrounding circumstances for our daily challenges which are actually lessons we incarnated here to learn. When we start saying “yes” to Love, that is what we send out to the Universe and that is what we get back. Knowing this, makes our life Journey a whole lot easier.
