What is Spiritualism?

What is a spiritualist? This is a question I asked myself one day, so I decided to explore the subject and this is what I came up with. I believe that being a Spiritualist is being connected to God, Nature, each other and the deepest part of ourselves (going within and finding the Godspark that exists there) and really discovering who we are. It is being comfortable in my own skin. For me, it is like the infinity symbol, it has no beginning and no end.

It is being able to connect with God through our hearts without going through a “middle man or woman”. A very effective way to do this is through the meditation process.

It is knowing my Creator without the aid of organized religion.

It is a practice that goes beyond religion – spirituality embraces all religions but is not bound to any one religious faith or belief.

It is where we are in harmony with the Universe and Nature, where we honor all life forms, knowing we are not above any life form because we are all One.

It is realizing that everything is energy.

It is a belief in meditation, reincarnation, karma, yoga, Nature Sprites, Faeries, Elementals and Spirit Guides.

It is using our psychic abilities freely – without fear.

It is knowing there is much life outside of our Planet, in our Galaxy and in the Multiverse.

It is knowing that a Spiritual approach to God is through Love where there is no judgment only acceptance.

Spiritualism is being able to look at another human and see the soul that resides within the physical body instead of just seeing the body. We know that we are all here to learn and evolve on our way back to our Source.

Throughout my many years of seeking, I have finally found some Peace. I will never stop searching for knowledge but at least now I know where to look.

This is my perception of Spirituality.

Love and Light,
